  • In writing – drop in the RED BOX next to the main entrance or post a written request carefully listing the items required. If prescriptions are to be posted back please forward a self- addressed envelope.
  • By telephone – Between 10PM to 12PM

A maximum of 56 days supply is allowed.

Medication Reviews

Your doctor may need to see you before your prescriptions are issued. It is important that you book reviews as advised by reception staff.

High risk medication requests like methotrexate, contraceptive pill, strong analgesia (morphine or related drugs) and many more are monitored more closely. Prescription quantity may be reduced if you do not attend reviews or not had required monitoring for example blood tests, blood pressure checks. This ongoing monitoring is extremely important as these drugs have significant adverse effects including stroke and death.

Under exceptional circumstances, where a patient repeatedly do not attend the reviews, as per the Good Medical Practice Guidelines, we may refuse to prescribe until they attend the review.
